A Bit About Me
Mike Narum is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for The CPI Group, a Denver based company that provides comprehensive program and project management services for healthcare and high-tech facilities facing complex renovation or new build projects.
Bringing a wealth of experience from his more than 30 years of construction management and owner’s representation experience, Mike oversees The CPI Group’s Project and Program Managers. In addition to mentoring the project and program managers on his team, Mike provides executive oversight of current projects and client relations.
Prior to joining The CPI Group in early 2011, he spent 17 years with The Weitz Company until leaving to head up development and construction for a high-end resort development company overseeing international real estate development activities. His diverse range of project experience includes Department of Defense/USACE, Department of the Treasury, international resort development, commercial office buildings and retail, high bay clean room manufacturing, semi-conductor, data centers, healthcare and ICD-705 environments. In addition, Mike is a past Board Member for DBIA Rocky Mountain Region and a licensed general contractor.
Mike currently lives in the Thornton area with his son Brenden, daughter Amber and wife Lenna.
